Welcome to Travel Tales Tourism! By booking with us and participating in our activities, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. General Terms Travel Tales Tourism (referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a variety of experiences, including tours, safaris, and other activities (collectively referred to as “Activities”). These Activities may be provided directly by us or in collaboration with our trusted suppliers.
2. Booking and Payment Policy To secure your spot in an Activity, a booking must be completed, and payment provided either in full or in part. Any remaining balance is due on the same day as the Activity or by an agreed-upon date set by Travel Tales Tourism. Please be aware that cancellations within twenty-four (24) hours of the Activity’s start time are non-refundable. Additionally, failure to arrive at the designated meeting point by the specified departure time will be treated as a cancellation without refund.
3. Changes and Cancellations We reserve the right to modify, cancel, or exclude any portion of an Activity at our discretion, with or without prior notice. Changes may occur due to factors outside our control or the control of our suppliers, including weather conditions, accidents, health issues, government restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstances. In these cases, full or partial refunds may be issued based on our discretion or that of the Activity’s provider.
4. Participant Responsibilities By joining our Activities, you acknowledge that there may be inherent risks involved. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are physically and mentally fit to participate in each specific Activity. You agree to follow any instructions provided by our Activity leaders (“Leader”). Should the Leader determine that your behavior or physical condition poses a risk to yourself, other participants, or the integrity of the group, they may ask you to exit the Activity without entitlement to a refund.
5. Third-Party Activities For activities conducted by third-party providers, where Travel Tales Tourism acts as an agent, the specific terms and conditions of the respective provider will apply. Any requests for refunds will be governed by these providers’ policies, and we cannot be held liable for the actions, negligence, or omissions of these third parties, their staff, agents, or contractors.
6. Additional Terms These terms and conditions are applicable unless a separate agreement or signed contract outlining different terms has been established.
Specific Activity Instructions:
Off-Road Driving
By participating in the off-road driving experience, you accept all potential risks and release Travel Tales Tourism and its personnel from liability for any injuries or accidents. In case of an emergency, you authorize our representatives to administer first aid and arrange transport to a local hospital if necessary. We are not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings during this Activity. Guests are responsible for supervising children, and any required car seats must be provided and installed by the guest.
• Loud music is not permitted to maintain a pleasant atmosphere for everyone on board.
• Jumping into the water from the upper deck is prohibited for safety reasons.
• Swimming and water sports are undertaken at your own risk; we highly recommend wearing a life jacket at all times during these activities.
• Fighting or disruptive behavior on the boat is strictly prohibited to ensure a safe environment for all guests.
• Guests are responsible for any damages they cause to the boat or equipment, and repair costs may be charged.
• In accordance with Qatari law, alcohol consumption is not allowed on board.
• For fishing trips, all passengers must carry a valid Qatar ID or passport.
• Before the tour begins, Travel Tales Tourism drivers will introduce themselves. Guests are encouraged to remember the driver’s name and company name to ensure a smooth experience.
• Our drivers are highly skilled in off-road driving, and each 4×4 vehicle is equipped with essential safety features. Vehicles can accommodate up to 6 passengers and 1 driver.
• Please keep personal belongings secure inside the vehicle during the off-road portion of the tour. We are not responsible for any items that may be lost or damaged.
• Seat belts must be worn at all times for your safety during the tour.
• A light meal is recommended before the dune drive to help prevent car sickness. Please let the driver know if you need to stop for a break.
• Smoking is not allowed inside the vehicles to maintain a clean and comfortable environment for everyone.
• Dress appropriately for the weather, and protect yourself from the sun
• Our drivers carry communication devices for reliable contact throughout the tour.
• Guests with medical conditions, such as back pain or pregnancy, should be aware that participation is at their own risk.
• Swimming is permitted only within the designated area. Guests are advised to stay together.
